Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains the types of data involved when iyVPN provides subscription services, processes orders, and maintains its website, as well as the purposes and controls for using that data. Data is handled only as necessary to deliver services, protect account security, complete transactions, or improve the website.

Data Collected and How It Is Used

When creating an account, users only need to set a username and password; no email address is required. iyVPN does not treat a registration email as mandatory account information. The username identifies the account, while the password is protected and used for authentication. Users should keep their login credentials secure and avoid reusing them with other services.

When purchasing a subscription or data package, the system stores order records needed for delivery, including the selected item, amount due, payment status, creation time, and necessary transaction reference information. These records confirm entitlements, process refund requests, review unusual orders, and show transaction history in the account. Data usage is summarized according to the plan rules to calculate remaining allowance and determine service status, but it is not used to build a profile of browsing content.

When visiting iyVPN marketing pages or the user panel, the analytics system may process page URLs, referring pages, browser type, device category, interface language, and basic network information required for requests. This data helps verify that pages work properly, evaluate entry points, and locate technical issues. It is not used to infer the specific content users access through international routes.

No-Logs Policy and Connection Data

iyVPN follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit, their submitted queries, transmitted content, or message bodies, and it does not create browsing histories that could reconstruct personal network activity. Service nodes do not generate or retain connection logs linking an account to specific access targets.

To calculate data allowance and determine account status, the system may process aggregated usage at the account level and subscription validity status. These records only show the amount used and whether the service is available; they do not include target websites, pages visited, communications, or in-app actions. If troubleshooting requires users to provide screenshots, error messages, or diagnostic information, those materials are used only for the relevant support ticket. Unrelated content may be covered before submission.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website may use Cookies or browser local storage to save login sessions, interface language, necessary security status, and basic access analytics identifiers. The user panel also stores authentication status locally so that a refreshed page can continue recognizing the signed-in account. These mechanisms maintain feature continuity and are not used to record content transmitted through iyVPN routes.

Browsers generally allow users to view, restrict, or clear Cookies and local storage. After clearing them, the account may be signed out, while language preferences and some interface states may return to their defaults. Users can continue after signing in again or making a new selection. Disabling necessary storage may prevent authentication, order display, or user panel features from working properly.

Payment Processing and Data Boundaries

iyVPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment processing is handled by the relevant third-party payment service or settlement network, whose privacy policy and transaction rules govern its data practices. iyVPN receives the payment result, order identifier, and reconciliation information needed to complete an order. Users are not required to submit complete third-party payment credentials on marketing pages.

Third-party payment services may collect payment account, transaction network, or risk-control information under their own rules. Such information is handled independently by the relevant service, and iyVPN cannot control every part of that process. Before paying, users should review the rules provided by their chosen payment method and confirm that its data practices meet their needs.

Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates

Account data is retained while the account remains active to support login, entitlement delivery, and service assistance. Order and refund records are retained only as needed to fulfill transactions, handle disputes, reconcile accounts, and meet applicable requirements. Once no longer needed for those purposes, they will be deleted, anonymized, or subject to restricted processing. Access analytics are retained for aggregated analysis while efforts are made to avoid creating long-term records that directly identify individuals.

Users can request deletion of their account and related personal data through the support ticket entry in the user panel. After a request is submitted, the system verifies control of the account and processes data that no longer needs to be retained. Records still needed for transaction review, refund processing, security investigations, or applicable requirements may be restricted rather than deleted until the relevant matter ends. They will then be cleared in accordance with this policy.

This policy may be updated when service features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The revised text will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be changed. Material changes to the scope of data processing will be communicated through available in-service methods. Before continuing to use the service, users can review the changes and decide whether to continue.
